Guidance for Troubled Times

Our signature material is the commentary provided by our writers and podcasters. We live in difficult times of secularization and hostility to the Church, and we are members of a Church which also cries out for authentic renewal. In our commentary we address issues and problems of great concern to Catholics in the Church and the world, offering clear analysis and sound guidance.

Commentary

From world affairs to Church problems, from Catholic analysis to spiritual formation, we are there for you. If you have wondered about it, we have probably written about it. Our goal is to provide Catholics with the analysis they need to make sense of the Church and the world and the challenges they present.

Deep Catholic thinkers

Our regular writers include Phil Lawler, Jeff Mirus, Jennifer Gregory Miller, and Fr. Jerry Pokorsky. We might write about anything, but Lawler emphasizes current events, Mirus often focuses on how best to understand complex issues, Miller writes on the liturgical year, and Fr. Pokorsky zeroes in on spiritual growth.

By Catholics for Catholics

Our writers make sense of everything from unfortunate scandals to authentic renewal, from human problems to spiritual development.
