Kidnapped priest released in Nigeria

CWN Editor's Note: Father Kingsley Eze, who was kidnapped on November 30 in southern Nigeria, has been released, along with a companion, after a ransom was paid.

Local media reports indicate that the kidnappers contacted the wife of Father Eze’s traveling companion, demanding payment of over $60,000, but eventually settled for a $600 ransom.
