Irish ‘bishop’ to wed boyfriend

“Bishop” Pat Buckley, a priest suspended in 1986 and excommunicated in 1998, will enter into a civil union with his boyfriend of three years. “I did not realize that this was going to come out,” said Buckley, “and I would prefer not to talk about it at the moment.”
