VENI CREATOR SPIRITUS
The hymn Come, Creator Spirit, most probably written by the Benedictine abbot Rabanus Maurus (776-856). It has for centuries been part of the Divine Office and has been called "the most famous of hymns," sung at the election of popes, consecration of bishops, ordination of priests, at councils, synods, and dedication of churches.
