Church mediation sought for kidnapped politician in Paraguay

CWN Editor's Note: The family of a former vice-president of Paraguay, who was kidnapped in September, has asked Church leaders to help secure his release. Oscar Denis was abducted by a group identified as the Paraguayan People’s Army. The country’s government says that it has identified his captors, who have issued a series of demands as a condition for his release.
