CWN Editor's Note: A kippah (or yarmulke) is the skullcap worn by Orthodox Jewish men. “We Roman Catholics have to be very close to our Jewish brothers and sisters,” said Dean Daniels, archdiocesan ecumenical and interfaith coordinator, “especially at this time when there’s so much anti-Semitism.” On November 8, Auxiliary Bishop Jeffrey Haines will wear a kippah instead of a zucchetto during Mass.
