Catholic Recipe: Carnival Pancakes
Also Called: Farsangi Palacsinta
DIRECTIONS
Combine flour, salt, egg yolks, 1 cup milk. Stir until smooth. Add rest of milk slowly until consistency of heavy sweet cream. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter. Drop into 8-inch well-buttered skillet. Fry until golden brown on each side. Serve filled with meat, fish, vegetables, or as a dessert combined with sweet fillings of fruit, custard or rolled plain covered with sweet toppings.
