The title is an anachronism, of course, but by film I mean to call attention to the importance of video entertainment in our culture.

Thomas Van introduced today's theme when he posted his fascinating exploration of Pope Pius XII's Apostolic Exhortations on the Ideal Film. These reflections date back to 1955.
